DMCA Policy
Our compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and takedown notice process.
Last updated: November 2026
1.DMCA Compliance Statement
YTMP3Pro complies with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. Section 512. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same.
As an online service provider, we are entitled to certain safe harbor protections under the DMCA. This policy explains how copyright holders can submit takedown notices and how we respond to them.
It is important to note that YTMP3ProPro does not host, store, or cache any video or audio content. Our service converts YouTube videos to MP3/MP4 files in real-time and streams them directly to the user's device. We do not maintain a database of downloadable files.
2.Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that content available through our service infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice.
Your notice must include the following elements as required by 17 U.S.C. Section 512(c)(3):
1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple works are involved, provide a representative list.
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the specific YouTube URL(s) that users can convert through our service. We need the exact YouTube video URL(s) to block them.
4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you: your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
3.Submitting Your Notice
Send your DMCA takedown notice to: digitaltools.support@gmail.com
Subject line: 'DMCA Takedown Notice — YTMP3'
Please include all required elements in a single email to ensure fast processing. Incomplete notices will be returned with a request for additional information.
For your protection, we recommend sending DMCA notices via email only. Do not send physical mail unless specifically requested.
4.Our Response to Valid Notices
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will take the following actions promptly (typically within 48 hours):
1. Review the notice to ensure it contains all required elements under Section 512(c)(3).
2. If valid, block the specified YouTube video URL(s) from being converted through our service. We will add the URLs to our internal block list.
3. Maintain a record of the takedown notice and our response for legal compliance purposes.
4. Notify the claimant that the action has been taken.
5. If applicable, notify the user who generated the content that it has been blocked due to a copyright claim.
5.Counter-Notification Process
If you believe that your content was wrongly blocked due to a DMCA takedown notice (e.g., you have the right to use the content, or the claim is mistaken), you may file a counter-notification.
Your counter-notification must include the following under 17 U.S.C. Section 512(g)(3):
1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled, including the YouTube URL(s) that were blocked.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the district in which your address is located (or if your address is outside the US, the district where YTMP3 is located).
6. A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original takedown notice.
Send counter-notifications to: digitaltools.support@gmail.com with subject 'DMCA Counter-Notice — YTMP3'
6.What Happens After a Counter-Notice
If we receive a valid counter-notification, we will:
1. Forward a copy of the counter-notification to the original claimant.
2. Inform the claimant that the blocked content may be restored in 10-14 business days.
3. Restore access to the specified YouTube URL(s) after 10-14 business days, unless we first receive notice from the claimant that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity.
This process ensures both parties have the opportunity to present their case under the DMCA framework.
7.Repeat Infringer Policy
Under Section 512(i) of the DMCA, service providers must terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
Since YTMP3Pro is an anonymous service without user accounts, we implement this requirement by:
1. Maintaining a block list of YouTube URLs that have been subject to valid DMCA takedown notices.
2. Blocking IP addresses that repeatedly attempt to convert infringing content.
3. Taking additional technical measures to prevent circumvention of blocks.
We are committed to maintaining a service that respects copyright law while providing a useful tool for legitimate users.
8.False Claims Warning
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.
This means that filing a false DMCA claim can result in legal consequences, including being held liable for any damages caused to the user or to YTMP3Pro.
Before filing a takedown notice, ensure you have a legitimate copyright claim and that the content is actually infringing. If you are unsure, consult with a legal professional.
